Located at the junction of Prado and Neptuno Streets, Hotel Parque Central lies on the border of Havana's 'Centro Habana' and 'Habana Vieja' municipalities at the top of Prado Street and overlooking Central Park and the El Capitolio building, once the seat of government. After falling into disrepair and total dereliction during the 1970's the property was re-built and re-opened its doors in 1999.

Larimar won the award to manufacture and supply a collection of rather unique lobby and lobby bar furniture pieces made from iron, rattan and bamboo with tables of decorative mosaic stone. The property, initially managed by Golden Tulip Hotels of Holland then NH Hotels of Spain, is currently managed by Iberostar. From the roof deck swimming pool the property commands panoramic views of Havana's many districts and out to sea toward the Florida Straits.

Many of the furniture pieces we supplied remain in use today.
